Cody Brown Memorial Scholarship
This memorial scholarship rewards those who show a pursuit of excellence in life through sports, academics, music, and by showing a commitment to friends and community. The scholarship is not needs based. The 2017-18 award will be a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior who attended Griffin School for a minimum of two years. Scholarship packets will be mailed out to all local high schools in early February and will be available in the Griffin main office by February 2nd. The deadline for applications is April 16, 2018. The recipient will be notified by June 1st and awarded the scholarship at the Griffin 8th Grade Promotional Ceremony. Please encourage any eligible seniors to pick up an application packet to review scholarship qualifications.
Tiernan-Keigher 8th Grade Scholarship
The Tiernan-Keigher Scholarship is a $60,000 endowment made possible by a generous anonymous donation and matched with proceeds from our 2006 Auction. The 2017-18 award will be a $2,500 scholarship to an 8th grade student in the Griffin Community to be held in trust for the receiving student until they are enrolled in an accredited college, university or vocational institution. Financial need will be considered when selecting a recipient. Applications will be available at Griffin School District’s main office by February 2nd. Applicants must live or go to school in the Griffin Community but do not need to be a Griffin School student. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2018.
